Lo and behold, February is upon us, and that means the biggest events in the Oxford Judo calendar are rapidly approaching: BUCS in Sheffield and Varsity in Cambridge.
Both city and uni players are putting in extra hours with Tuesday weights and Saturday fitness, and today we had a little extra incentive to come to randori as we were joined by four judoka from the University of Southampton judo club and their coach Gary.
The tatami was packed extra tight tonight, but there were some big throws being executed nonetheless.
