OUJC is a Discretionary Full Blue sport
The award of Full Blue is a long-standing and great honour and, as such, the club imposes strict criteria on the selection for these awards. Players are expected to be dedicated athletes, role-models to less experienced judoka and partake fully in the activities of the club.
OUJC criteria necessary (but not sufficient) for recommendation to Full Blue:
Up to 4 Half Blues to those with blue belts or higher who have medalled at BUCS or another major competition and won their Varsity Match fight. Discretionary Full Blues to those who have met the same criteria but usually with a black belt.
