Following their recent success at the high-level Kent International Open Judo Championships on 26th June, the talents of two Oxford judoka have been singled out for praise on the British Judo Association’s website.
From a talent-rich field of over 1400 international competitors fighting it out at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, the current President of OUJC, Karen Kruska, and our youngest member at 16 years, Jordan Doherty, both emerged with Bronze medals for their efforts.
The BJA article praised Oxford Judo as a “standout club, who are regarded as one of region’s premier judo outfits”, and also highlighted our recent successes at the Paris University Team Competition and at the Singapore Commonwealths.
