Oxford stormed the 2009 BJC Nationals bringing home 12 medals from the event this year.
Jordan Doherty brought home the Bronze from the espoir ladies, and also taking bronze were Amy Parsons and Michelle followed by Emma and Shivani who both took silver in their categories.
From the mens Kyu grades Marcelo and Lui took silver and bronze respectively in the under-66kg, whilst Matt Taylor fought well in a big under-73kg category to take bronze. James, Teddy, Ben Drumm, Ian and Brad also gave good performances but unfortunately didn’t take any silverware. However there was further success for both Brad and Ben Drumm who went on to win bronze and silver respectively in the mens kyu grade open weight. Emma also went on to take another silver in the ladies’ open, making her the most successful competitor from oxford and rounding off a very successful day for the kyu grades.
