Oxford Judo takes three golds at the British Masters Judo Championship

Oxford Judo made it three golds for three entries at the British Masters Judo Championships in Belfast on 29 September.  Jim Birnie took gold in M6 <90 kilos with a dominant display, winning all four matches by ippon throws.  In M6 <81 kilos, Head Coach Chris Doherty earned gold by beating the reigning European Masters champion by waza ari and taking his other match by ippon.  In kyu grades +45 years, <73 kilos, Greg Mook won all three matches by ippon to take gold.

This is a great set of results and be sure to congratulate the Jim, Chris and Greg when you see them on the mat.
