Saturday 27th February marked a historic day for Oxford Judo, with the 80th anniversary Varsity judo match taking place in the Oxford Town Hall, 40 years since it was last held there. We ended up with around 200 spectators, creating an exciting atmosphere in the hall and spurring on our teams.

2 Team Medals Won in Tough Paris Competition
18 members of the club travelled to the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris for an international student tournament this Saturday 6th February. The competition was of a very good standard, with particularly strong teams from Poland, Zurich and Paris.
2 Medals for Oxford Fighters at Singapore Commonwealths
Huge congratulations are in order for Rebecca Bayliss, Hugh Leonard and Alex Jones, who represented England at the 2010 Commonwealth Judo Championships in Singapore this weekend.
6 Medals and 2 Trophies Won at Inaugural London Inter-Universities
What a month, Oxford hit the ground running with lots of competitive judo throughout November finally ending the month in style by taking 6 individual medals and 2 of the 3 tournament trophies at the first London Inter-Universities tournament.
12 Medals Won at BJC Nationals
Oxford stormed the 2009 BJC Nationals bringing home 12 medals from the event this year.
